There's no hope !

I know society as a whole is getting lazier and lazier but good god ! Wanted some more mids (seeing as Nat loves his socom14 so much !) any hoo a bit of googlfoo and its prity much everyone saying "keep away from King arms there shite ! " BUT there also a hell of a lot cheaper than the rest . So a bit more googlfoo on 'fixing KA M14 mids' and guess what ? Thirty seconds later I'm opening a YouTube on how too fix the misfeeds . So I ordered a box of ten 120rds with a bit of trepidation but in for a penny and all that crap , they arrived and only 4 would feed ! 20mins later after following the vid instructions guess what ? They all feed perfectly! Well there's a pigging shock for you !
So yes there is no hope for society !

But only if your old and crusty, and have a bit of sense!

How many M14 mags have you got? It must be loads by now.

Well there's the 10 KA 120rd mids , 4 CA 190rd , 3 TM 70rd and 3 hi-caps ! But there's 5 TM mids and 1 hi-cap adrift some were between Stodgey and Owen as it only came with the three and the 1 hi-cap , I had 8 mids and 2 hi-caps !

I'll have to remember about the King arms mags, I've a number of M14 mags but more mid caps are always nicer to have than hi caps rattle rattle

I always carry 1 hi-cap for those 'just in case ' moments fully wound then topped off so there's no rattle , but I enjoy having to do mag changes so it's mids all the way for me !
Would love to run low caps with ammo limits but totally pointless on an open day and no were seems to do those kind of games any more , mores the pity .

Mids are the best compromise, I love the idea of lo caps but only if everybody is using them.

This is were I got my box of ten from , they were £10 off so only £44.99 plus what ever the P&P was even with the feed issue (which this topic is basically about !) think they're a bit of a bargain !

Cripes that's cheap, especially as it's a quick fix to get them all working.

At that price if the worst was to happen and you'd lost one or two not really a big deal ? Not like say the G&P mids there £16 each , would not be impressed with loosing one of those !

The weird thing is that while I was ordering our M14 parts I put some G&P mid caps in my cart, fortunately I didn't buy them.

Very ! Whilst researching mids (best for lowest price !) I did read on more than one site that the G&P ones can be a bit hit or miss ! Which isn't very good for there price ! Would not be impressed at all if they gave me trouble !

And on a different tangent but still magazine related , had an email from patrol base about there advent sale and have just ordered 6 G36 110rd mid caps which are on sale with 40% , off so cost me £40.49 ! Result ! Will go very nicely with the TM recoil G36 !
I've not used it my self as A; I bought it for Nat but B; we only have hi-caps for it and I bloody hate the things ! I'll carry 1 as a lost ditch Mag but won't play the whole game with them !

Talking of mags (thanks to Tony), just ordered 2 HFC Mk23 mags from Battkezone for £19 quid each, which is bloody cheap for GBB mags!

Out off curiosity I've had a quick look around see how much everyone is doing the ASG mk23 mags for (seeing as there actually the HFC ones) cheapest I've found is £22.99 most expensive £29.99 ! Ten quid more than me and Justin paid from battlezone for the original branded ones , now that really is a piss take if ever I saw one !

And would you believe it? Also just had a £4 refund from Battlezone from the postage of the two mags, so final price was just under £44 delivered! Bloody bargain.
