PostSubject: Life batteries   Tue Jan 13, 2015 8:55 pm

A bit of a necrosis post for the old forum but I have taken the plunge and bought some triple cell 11.2v Life batteries for my L85's.
Now have the batteries secured inside the lower tmh (trigger mechanism housing)

The rate of fire is much better than my 7.4v LiPo's and what's more they must be better for the guns as the single shot works properly now and it never has done before.

Purchased 2 balance extension leads and have run them into the hand guards, so that I can charge the batteries without splitting the weapons........

Feeling somewhat smug

Let's hope it works out and I don't blow something up

Ah, my bad - you are correct its was the 9.9v battery ( 3 x 3.3v cells) had a brain fart and put 11.2v thinking of Lipo. that would have exploded my gearbox I fear
